Get Ready Project – Preparing Young People for a Better Future

The Get Ready Project was designed to encourage young people to take part in activities that help to provide essential life skills that are often overlooked in traditional education. Through this programme we seek to help young people to boost their self-esteem, confidence and social engagement.
The project is aimed at young people between the ages of 12-18 that may be experiencing challenges, such as: vulnerability, low self- esteem/ self -worth, isolation, social anxiety or young people that just want to learn new skills.
The Get Ready Project seeks to empower, enable, support and equip young people with the skills and knowledge to overcome or to manage mind sets, behaviours and habits that can create barriers to their growth and development. We do this through, creative Art Therapy, career Readiness Support, Financial literacy workshops, dance/drama, mentoring & Well
